And it's the perfect time to take a motorhome trip, enjoy the landscapes and cook with the seasonal products of the places we visit. We leave you with our 5 favorite destinations to enjoy spring in a motorhome.
Jerte Valley
spring in the Jerte Valley brings with it a show that fills the senses: the flowering of more than a million and a half cherry trees that are planted in the area. Although it varies each season, depending on the weather, it is normal for flowering to occur between March 20 and April 10, approximately, and last about 10 days. The cherry trees are planted on land that forms terraces, so when covered with white flowers, they create a mantle that will leave you speechless.
Declared National Tourist Interest since 2010, it includes a series of activities called “Spring and Cherry Blossoms in the Valle del Jerte”, which takes place from mid-March to early May, including cultural, sports, gastronomic events and active tourism proposals.
In addition to enjoying this spectacle, the Jerte Valley is attractive for many more reasons, such as its incredible nature, the attractiveness of its towns and, of course, its gastronomy.

In it we can find up to 80 types of environments with a great diversity of flora and fauna, which led it, in 2013, to be declared Natural Reserve of the Biosphere by UNESCO.
In addition to its rich landscape, we can enjoy a wonderful sunset from Trabucador Beach, Do hiking in Falgar Point, known as the Ebro Delta Desert, which can only be accessed on foot; perform bird watching in the lagoon of La Encanyissada; or tour the natural environment of the mouth of the Ebro River, the longest and mightiest in our country. Ruidera lagoons
The third destination is another wetland and Natural Park, but this time in Castilla-La Mancha: the Ruidera lagoons. Located on the border of the provinces of Ciudad Real and Albacete, it is made up of a complex lagoon system with fifteen gaps which, along 30 kilometres, make up the Alto Guadiana valley and, in its highest part, the birthplace of the Guadiana river.
The most characteristic feature of this natural park is that the fifteen lagoons overflow and flood one another, forming waterfalls and jumps, due to geological formations, such as travertine barriers.
In summer there are bathing areas and there are different paths to visit each lagoon, either on foot or by bicycle, to observe the flora and fauna present throughout this territory, as well as the wonderful landscape of the lagoons, whose colors are changing from one to another. We recommend, especially, that you do not miss the call Sinking Waterfall, very close to the town of Ruidera, and easily accessible on foot.

Of course, being a natural park you will not be able to spend the night in them.
